Wow these look great in your house Hazel! The pots are "working" well by holding all those lovely ingredients!
Thanks Hazel - I might go and get some mint and put it in a little jug right now!
Do the herbs in the salt flavour it?
POTS AT WORK
Competition starts today!
Once pots have left my studio I often wonder how people use them. So I?ve decided to run a photographic competition: you send me photos of any Katherine Mahoney pot “at work”…maybe you have a salad bowl that is perfect for a certain salad or a piece that just looks perfect sitting on a window sill in the morning light, holding a flower, or filled to the brim with luscious green apples! A piece that performs a function beautifully for you is what I would really love to see.
The good news is that the winner will win a one of my handthrown salad...
I have just had my website upgraded by Click Click Media, I am delighted with the results, will post a video soon and tweak a few things here and there.... Let me know what you think
Jude put this beautiful display together for the Christmas season.
We collaborated on the design of these bright vessels and after much discussion and tweaking came up with the above.
I am lucky enought to be included in the latest Australian Ceramics Journal in the "Inside my Studio" feature. It shows my messy studio , some pots, the kiln and an interview with Vicki Grima - a four page spread with photos!
I have been lucky enough to be asked to collaborate with the AGNSW and design a range for the AGNSW exhibition shop. The range compliments the strong bold works in the upcoming Mad Square exhibition starting on August 6th and continuing until Novmeber 6th.
